Confusion is now clarified, with confirmation.                            Bandai Namco has announced that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has been delayed until January 19, 2018. The CEO and president of Level 5, Akihiro Hino, relayed the news in a rather sombre video. He also clarified that there’d be no online multiplayer component to Ni no Kuni II, just online announcements related to in-game events. Speaking in a video on the Bandai Namco Twitter account, Hino said, ‘We have decided that more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni: II experience to our fans. I deeply apologise to those who have been looking forward to the game's release.’Hino clarified the status of online multiplayer for the game, stating that there will not be a multiplayer component as was previously suggested. During E3, he was asked about online multiplayer content, he thought the question was about online content in general, and Hino states that his ‘answer referred to online announcements of in-game events’ and not a multiplayer mode.
